Wendy has several stories in the Fine Line Press books “Forty Stories of Japan” and “Downunder Japan”: The Mountain; Otoosan: Life and Death; Northwest of Takamatsu. There is also a fine wine tribute by her in “To Wine” – Wine: Water of Life. Her biography in this 2020 book reads thus: American by birth, born in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, I have lived abroad most of my life: UK seven years, France a year, Holland for six months, and 36 years in Japan. I was a postgraduate student at Edinburgh University, a student of life in France and Holland, an academic in Japan. I’ve been a writer from childhood and always sought out new experiences.
Wendy also has a short story included in ‘The Best Asian Crime Fiction 2020,’ a Kitaab Press Publication (Singapore). She now lives in Lancaster in England, but returns to Japan as often as possible.
